A little about
Kennel Duchesse Danell
We are Gitta 47 years old and Ole 57 years old, and our son Michael who is 27 years old and working in the Danish Army in Haderslev. In the weekends ,we are using him as a babysitter for our dogs when we are to go out on something else.

We have had dogs for about 28 years. First we had some mixbred dogs, and then German shepherd. We started to train with the German shepherd in DCH (Danish Civil Dog Association), and Ole was very interested in that. A couple of years later he startet to educate to instructor and later he has become a judge, regional instructor, regional president and a lot more.
We got our first Tervueren (Leslie's Jahra) 15 years ago, and fell in love with this breed who is lovely both as a family- and working dog and for showing.
After our last German shepherd died we wanted to have one more dog, and that was a lovely Tervueren male (Leslie's Quincy). Then we had both male and female, and as both of them had a fantastic temperament, we decided to have a litter. We didn't know that Quincy and Jara had arranged for this themselves. This was our first litter and kennel Duchesse Danell saw the light of day.
At the moment we have 10 dogs; 8 females and 2 males. Ole trains with the male Nadjaar. Jady, Blanca and Boris enjoy being our family dogs as well as playmates for the young dogs and the puppies at the farm. Gitta trains the girls Aizha , Dina , Mizelli ,Gesell and Naya as well as the latest import Lufaliva's Aurora " Thea", a lovely littel femal from Norway. We also have a lot of cats who belive that when we are training the dogs at home, they are to participate.
Try to teach a puppy sit stay when a bunch of cats are walking around the puppy, it is almost impossible!
We have several of the dog bred by us who are working as service dogs or social dogs for disabled people.

Gitta is instructor with the Service Dog Club, who trains service-social-signaldogs and has their trainingcenter at our farm, and she is always home with our dogs.
Shows: Yes from time to time, but we have some of our puppy buyers who go to shows woth their dogs, and sometimes it goes very well (Dundee was BOB puppy in Fredericia), Emmet was BOB puppy in Aars) and we are proud of our breeding.
In addition we are also very proud of those who are training with their dogs in different clubs.
Kristina Spangård has won several obedience trials in DKC with Duchesse Danell Fribo Dancer "Bobo".
