Our breeding

The reason why we are breeding belgian shepherd dogs of the Tervueren variety, is to be enlightened of an unconditional love for just this breed. The belgian shepherd dog is an extremely nice dog to live with both as a family- and working dog, as it in all ways is a dog who wants to please/work for it's owner. Thereby it has an incredible ability to adjust, when it gets the time needed for adjustment. Just as when we people are to be introduced to something new, it takes time for a dog to adjust to new impressions and environment.

To breed physically and mentally healthy in addition to beautiful dogs is a huge responsibility, and as breeders we are very much aware of that responsibility. We want to give you as a possible puppy buyer a possibility get as much pleasure from you belgian as we have from ours. The key in our breeding is therefore the unconditional love for the breed, as this means that we never make compromises in our breeding work. To not make compromises in our breeding does not mean that we never make mistakes. I the work with living animals mistakes can never be totally avoided, but we do our best to avoid especially mental and health problems. Of course we also do what we can to raise beautiful dogs, as in this matter there are no reasons to compromise. In our opinion the Tervueren is a very beautiful dog, and a beautiful dog has exactly the same opportunity to be physically and mentally functional as a less beautiful specimen. Luckiwise, as a dog owner you can always see something beautiful in those dogs that are close to your heart.

We make big demands to ourselves, but we also do that in regards to our puppy buyers. As humans we can choose who we wants to be with, - the dogs can't. Therefore it is obvious that you guarantee the dog a responible, good and sound upbringing that results in a good life for the dog. When we sell dogs, it is also obvious to us that we belive that you want to help the breed to the advantage for itself and all the people who love it. It is also our hope that you want to join the community around the breed together with the breed enthusiasts in club environment, the showring, gatherings, etc. These arrangements may be very nice and is often very educational to both two- and fourlegged. If you for one reason or another can't keep the dog, we garantee you that we will take it back and give it a new without extra expences for you.

You are to demand that your puppy is postively reared for you to get pleasure of the good temperament, which is not only a result of good genes but definitely also a result of positive rearing from the birth. We make a lot of effort with the socializing of the puppies from very young age. It is a breeders responsibility and privelege.
